Dr. Dre Says Eminem/Jay-Z Shows 'Inspired' Him To Work On Detox

Dr. Dre
Dr. Dre

When Dr. Dre surprised the crowd at Eminem and Jay-Z's historic first Home and Home Tour stop in Detroit, fans greeted the elusive rap king with epic chants of "Detox!" after he spit memorable bars from his last LP, The Chronic 2001. During a recent sit-down, Dre said the warm response motivated the beatmaster to hit the lab and get his much-anticipated and long-delayed follow-up into the hands of those screaming fans.

"Being on the stage with Eminem and Jay-Z was one of the most incredible feelings I've felt in a long time. It inspired me, it made me want to hurry up and get back in the studio and put more effort and more work into my own project," Dre told MTV2's "Sucker Free" on Wednesday during an event for his latest successful venture, Beats by Dre.

The much-lauded producer said rocking the stage with his protégé-turned-pop phenomenon, Eminem, and his "Under Pressure" collaborator, Jay-Z, validated his current efforts and demonstrated that more than 10 years into the wait for Detox, hip-hop heads are still hungry for more Dre-helmed bangers.

"The response from the people out there was just incredible," Dre said. "It let me know that I still got love out there and I'm not wasting my time in the studio with what I'm doing, with the music or with all the Beats product that we're putting out."

After stacking hip-hop hits for decades, nurturing the careers of superstar MCs such as Snoop Dogg, Em and 50 Cent, releasing two almost undeniably classic solo efforts, 2001 and 1992's The Chronic, and shaping the way the latest generation of rap lovers hears music with his Beats by Dre headphones, the Doc has crafted a game-changing legacy. Even boasting that singular résumé, the deafening shouts from die-hard Dre acolytes still excite the rap icon.

"I can't explain it," he said. "It's an incredible feeling. It's not something that can be bought. You have to earn it, and it just made me feel just amazing."

Eminem And Lil Wayne's 'No Love' Video Premieres

Eminem and Lil Wayne
Eminem and Lil Wayne

Eminem's new video for "No Love," a collaboration with Lil Wayne, premiered Thursday (September 30), and it sends a powerful message, in line with much of his latest album, Recovery.

The video debuted at 7:56 p.m. ET on MTV, mtvU, MTV Hits, MTV Jams and MTV Tr3s. The track, which is from Em's double-platinum LP, is set to be released to radio October 5.

The single samples Haddaway's "What Is Love," and the video follows a schoolkid who gets pushed around the yard by bullies. He is shown with black eyes, which stemmed from being beat down in the school bathroom by the local toughs, and he eventually gets fed up. By the end of the clip, the kid toughens up.

Throughout the video, scenes are shown of the currently incarcerated Lil Wayne rapping in a dark room — at times with Eminem by his side — and smoke circles the rappers while they drop empowering verses about not being knocked down.

At other times, Eminem is holding a legal pad, reading from it and rapping in a studio while being cheered on by a singer who comes in on the verse and producer Denaun Porter, his hype man and fellow D12 group member.

By the video's conclusion, the bullied kid ends up confronting his attackers in the school cafeteria and takes on the three bullies — then he walks off into the proverbial sun, proud of sticking up for himself.

Justin Bieber's 'U Smile' Video Premieres

Justin Bieber fans have plenty to grin about now that the teen superstar's latest video is here. Bieber's "U Smile" clip premiered on Thursday (September 30) and features the Canadian sensation indulging in something he probably doesn't get a lot of these days: privacy.

The clip begins in black-and-white (and later incorporates scenes of color) as the "Somebody to Love" singer is approached by a crew of cheery tween fans who ask to snap a pic with the Biebs. The singer, of course, obliges and invites one of the lucky ladies out for a rendezvous later that evening. The two sneak into an empty theater and have lots of moments of PG intimacy, holding hands, horsing around on the theater's seats, sliding down banisters and making each other giggle. They wrap up the date with a playful back-alley water fight and collapse into each other's arms.

Bieber has said the video is about letting fans experience the ultimate fantasy for any hard-core Belieber: being Justin's girlfriend.

"I took the opportunity 2 make a video 4 the fans, about a fan, and how we could fall IN LOVE," he tweeted about the clip. "Love Grows. #LoveGrows."

Hit visuals like "Baby" and "One Time" show off the teen idol's footwork and peppy teenage swagger, but "U Smile" suggests a more mature Bieber, who appears to relish the quiet moments with his gal pal away from the nonstop fan hysteria. The clip also displays his skills as an instrumentalist, as he belts out the lyrics from behind a grand piano throughout much of the vid.

Eminem, Lil Wayne Turn Mutual Respect Into 'No Love'

Eminem and Lil Wayne

Eminem fans have plenty of love for their beleaguered hero. But that won't stop him from premiering the highly anticipated video for his Lil Wayne-assisted single, "No Love," at 7:56 p.m. ET on Thursday night (September 30), on MTV, mtvU, MTV Hits, MTV Jams and MTV Tr3s. The song, from his double platinum-selling LP, Recovery, is set to be released October 5.

On the 30-second teaser for the video, Eminem sings the chorus to the song while in a recording studio. Just Blaze, who produced the track using vocal samples of Haddaway's 1993 dance hit "What Is Love," looks on. The accompanying narrative finds a young student being picked on by bullies in what appears to be a school cafeteria.

Lil Wayne, who is still serving out his sentence at Rikers, doesn't appear in the teaser. But the two have co-starred in music videos before, most notably "Forever," with Kanye West and Drake, and "Drop the World," the third single from Lil Wayne's Rebirth LP.

The two lauded lyricists have somewhat of an awkward relationship. Back in 2008, during an interview with BBC radio personality DJ Semtex, Wayne alluded to Eminem being scared to collaborate with him on Tha Carter III. "I've never done a song with Eminem," Wayne said. "I sent him a song, and he ain't do it. I didn't like that, but it's all good. People be busy and stuff, or a.k.a. just scared to get on a song with me."

Linkin Park's Chester Bennington Talks Album Sales, U.S. Tour

Linkin Park's Chester Bennington
Linkin Park's Chester Bennington

When Linkin Park's A Thousand Suns debuted at #1 on the Billboard albums chart earlier this month, the band told MTV News that they were "deeply grateful" to their fans for helping them return to the top.

According to LP's Chester Bennington, the answer is no. The way he sees it, the days of the blockbuster album are coming to a close. A Thousand Suns could never match the first-week might of Meteora, or even the prolonged chart-busting success of their debut, Hybrid Theory, in large part because it was released in 2010.

"Trying to compare anything to Hybrid Theory in terms of sales is an exercise in futility: It's not gonna happen. That's the reality of the situation," Bennington told MTV News on Wednesday (September 29) in Los Angeles, where he was promoting his role in the upcoming splatterfest "Saw 3-D."

"With Meteora, that came out, [did] huge numbers the first week, it was like 800,000. Minutes to Midnight was in the 600,000 mark, and this one's at the 240,000 mark; that's a sign of the times. So, given that, the fact that it's #1 is cool, but people get their music in different ways now ... I don't really pay a lot of attention, because there's probably 10 million people out there who have the record that we don't know about."

And, while Bennington could care less about numbers, there is one area of the business that he's positively obsessed with: touring. Currently, Linkin Park don't have a single U.S. date scheduled (they'll instead hit up South America, and will spend the next two months crossing Europe, the UK, Israel and Australia) ... but that is going to change. Very soon.

Taylor Swift's Speak Now Bonus Tracks Revealed

Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift

In less than a week, Taylor Swift will begin to unveil tracks from her autobiographical new album, Speak Now, every week until its release. What fans won't hear during the countdown are any of the additional tracks available on the deluxe edition of the album, which is only available at Target. The mega-retailer has posted details on its exclusive CD/DVD package, including the expanded album's track list.

In addition to the standard 14-song set, the deluxe edition will include the new tracks "Ours," "If This Was a Movie" and "Superman." It's only expected that the teen sensation would offer fans bonus material, as she's explained that the album was a full of two year's worth of firsthand experiences. Swift has also stripped down three tracks and given fans a bonus disc with a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the video for album's lead single, "Mine," as well as the official clip itself.

Earlier this month, the songstress revealed that she was excited to treat fans to the deluxe edition of the album, saying, "I'm all about being able to give the fans special extras whenever I can, so I love that this version has video footage and even some additional songs."

In the recently revamped biography on her website, Swift writes about her fans.

"I've loved my fans from the very first day, but they've said things and done things recently that make me feel like they're my friends — more now than ever before," she writes. "I'll never go a day without thinking about our memories together."

Hayley Williams On 'Glee' Salute

On Tuesday night's Britney-riffic episode of "Glee," there was just one performance (aside from that part where Mr. Schue sang Michael McDonald in his new Corvette) that didn't center on all things Spears: Lea Michele's rather stirring rendition of Paramore's "The Only Exception," a key track off last year's Brand New Eyes album.

Paramore's Hayley Williams
Paramore's Hayley Williams

And while, to some, the inclusion of the song might have seemed a bit, well, odd (or, at least, "not Britney") in a lot of ways, Michele's performance — which ended with tears streaming down her face — sort of stole the show. It was a pretty powerful moment ... especially if you were the girl who wrote the song.

In the hours following the episode, Paramore's Hayley Williams took to her Twitter account to praise Michele's performance, and say that she was "so humbled" to have one of her band's tunes on the show.

Of course, MTV News wanted to get Williams' take on all this "Glee" madness. Given how nuts everything has been since the episode aired, it took her about a day to get back to us. And, not surprisingly, when she finally did, she still felt like she was floating on cloud nine.

"I can't even describe how I felt hearing one of our songs on a hit show like 'Glee,' " she wrote in an e-mail. "Lea Michele sang it beautifully, and I liked what she changed vocally. I felt like I was levitating off of my friend's couch trying to understand it was really happening!"

Ducati LA 2010

A truly one off frame separates the men from the boys so This is kind of the crème de la crème of building a special. Now that doesn't mean we have to swear off the idea of designing our own. They have the time and money to put all the R&D and design into them they want until you have a super light, super rigid frame. Let's face it.

In the day and age we live in, it's hard to beat the quality and construction of the latest and greatest factory superbikes. You can put the best suspension, biggest brakes, and lightest wheels you can afford on your bike, but if the frame is weak and twitchy all those killer parts are for nothing. This is the beginning and end of how well your bike is going to perform. With out a frame we basically have a pile of random parts, but there's more to it then just a place to bolt it all together.

One thing that has always intrigued me was frame design. Each part that is assembled with the machine not only adds in its function but also to it's style. Chassis design, suspension components, and body design are all key factors of what makes a motorcycle unique. The way in which these elements are connected, to work as a whole, are practically limitless.

In the grand scheme of things, we are working with 3 main elements: the wheels, the engine and the seat.  In the wonderful world of Fighterdom, you are only limited by your imagination.

Ducati 1198 R 2010

It lets you get on with it on the faster sections of the track, but because you know your electronic friend is there to help you, you tease the throttle more than you would do normally to run With traction control set on the middle level four, it kicks in coming out of slow-speed corners, especially on cold or worn tyres. At full throttle it's a cacophony of induction roar and hot metallic violence. It loves high-speed corners and punches out of slow ones in a bass-happy frenzy of mono-wheeling majesty.

The Yamaha R1 is happiest at full lean, where it's so stable. Ridden by the scruff of its neck the Ducati is amazing. At first the Ducati feels clumsy and unnatural around such a tight track and the instant power delivery too snatchy, but when you're hard-charging trying to chase someone, the T1198S changes completely. It's still slow-steering, too especially compared to the R Blade and ZX-10R. You feel perched up high and it's a long way down to get your knee down.

Properly set up it's a wonderful track bike. It also needs lots more damping to control the weaves and wobbles initiated by the instant power delivery of the V-twin engine and provide the stability to control the dive caused by the fierce Brembo Monobloc brakes. You need to get it on its nose so it'll steer well enough to change direction and hold a line.  Just like the Yamaha R1 the Ducati takes a lot of setting up to get it to work around the track.

The bottom line is the cost to treat injured motorcyclists with head injuries as the primary diagnosis is staggering. While many feel as though their rights are being taken away the reality is most motorcyclist do not carry enough personal protection insurance to cover them in the event they go down. Are they trying to change it for personal regard for the rider? Many organizations have pushed to change the law for various reasons.

The most important thing they do is rally together and force lawmakers to listen. Organizations like ABATE ("A Brotherhood Against Totalitarian Enactments") and the AMA ("American Motorcyclist Association") fight hard for the rights of the motorcyclist. Taking away the right to make this personal choices is not the answer. The law states "You do not have to wear a helmet in Florida if you are at least 21 years old and have a minimum $10,000 in medical benefits for injuries incurred as a result of a crash while operating or riding on a motorcycle".

While not completely repealed it was modified with an amendment that stipulates certain requirements for bikers that want to ride helmet-less in Florida. July 1, 2000 Florida's helmet law was changed. Attracting hundreds of thousands of motorcyclist yearly, many of these riders are not your hardcore bikers, they are likely to be family oriented people who share a passion for the wind.  Florida is famous for rendezvous's like Daytona Bike Week in the Spring, Biketober Fest and the West Coast Biker Rally in the fall.

Depending on these conditions in the participant countries, the corresponding value of foreign currency will increase or decrease. There are several economic and political factors that affect the currency conversion rates. The rates are continually changing and you have to carefully follow the changes to make profit. The value of US dollar or practically any currency will not remain the same next day.

The currency conversion rates change everyday. The buying and selling of currencies greatly depend on the future value of the currency. The market highly depends on the currency conversion rates. On the whole the market of foreign currency exchange is open all the time on all 5 weak days. The countries will open and close the currency exchange market with different time zones.

The results of currency conversion trading happening in one country will affect the other countries in the market. The participants of currency conversion indulge in trading and buy a foreign currency expecting the currency to have more value in the future. The industry runs purely on speculation. In this trading, you buy a currency using a foreign currency of another type.

But there are points where it takes extreme amounts of time to compete with 'out-of-box' features Yes Asterisk is Bad @$$ and can do many of the things that XYZ Big Box vendors offer and more. However if you are "Super VoIP Man", the one man consulting operation, it presents a unique niche market. Most open source products do not offer that. Now this answers the cry of all the "mom and pop's" out there, lets address "Big Boy Corporation." Larger corporations need a security blanket and if you can't offer that then your out the door.

Distros like TrixBox have the right idea, build a distribution and implement "Service Modules" to handle the configuration of tasks. End users, they are your greatest asset and threat at the same time. There is a common risk factor. However, the fact of the matter is that Asterisk is so extensible that it some times hurts the product. I'd like to say Open Source is almost the clear choice, and it may be the right one in some cases.

But let's go dig deeper and tackle its properties one by one. Many have speculated that the only thing that changed is the addition of reservoir shocks and that the frames are not an improvement from the past Yamaha TVs.  A lot has been said about the 2011 Yamaha Raptor 250R.

Hannah Tan from Penang - Part 1

Yes, Hannah Tan or Hannah Sarah Tan or  "Hannah T". It seems like in Malaysia when someone is getting famous, short form of the name is used.

Well, Hannah is not really my type but I can't deny that she has a great body. Well look at her yourself below and what do you think?

You must be wondering too why she has a Chinese name but doesn't look like Chinese. Indeed she is not a pure Chinese. She is a mixed blood between Chinese and Kelabit. Does Hybrid always has a great smile?

Huh, Kelabit? What race is that? I have no idea too and this is what Hannah said during one of her interviews:

"It’s one of the native tribes in Sarawak. In East Malaysia alone, there are more than 10 different ethnic groups"

She also mentioned "Kelabit" race is the among the seven most intelligent tribes in the world? How true is this?

However, if you still confused with the "Kelabit" race, you can assume it is kind of similar to Malay then. :) In certain extend, she does look like a Malay...

Hehehe... Swimsuit, what do you think? Do you think she looks like Kelly Hu?

Ducati Monster S4R 2010

Using a rubber mallet, very gently drive the factory bolt out. From the right side, install the shorter slider into the frame and insert the threaded rod through the slider till it meets the factory engine bolt.Grip the supplied threaded rod firmly in the middle with a vise or pliers, insert a stainless steel washer and install the supplied locknut until about 6-8 threads are exposed. You may have to secure the left side with a socket wrench to do this.Loosen and remove the nut on the right side(right while sitting on bike).

Remove the rubber bungs that cover the left and right mounting points as seen in the above picture. If you are unsure about the tightening torque, check your motorcycle's manual or www.motovationusa.com/torque.html for a quick reference guide Make sure the bike is on a stand and vertical, and make sure that the engine is supported from below by blocks. It is highly recommended that you refer to your service manual before performing this installation. These frame sliders are designed to fit specific engine mounts of your bike. Please read all instructions before beginning work!

They are tough but not brittle and can also absorb a huge impact. Each and every model is tested for drop and slide protection. Motovation frame protection slider kits are designed and manufactured by a company that only makes frame sliders.  These frame sliders have been designed to offer unsurpassed protection for the S2R, S4R, 600/620/900/1000, Multistrada in the unfortunate event of a lowside or tip over.
